Friction Stir Welding (FSW)

Inserting a tool with a spinning screw probe into the parent material generates frictional heat and this heat softens the material around the tool and the stir of the tool causes metal flow, forcefully mixing the materials of the facing surfaces and welding them together. E-Beam welding was used for the products like SUSCEPTOR or LOWER COOLING PLATE that need welding on the cover and the body before, but the process is switched to FSW which has an excellent advantage in leak prevention.
